DMI is inviting leading voices and companies to discuss diversity and inclusion. Now the question is what is Diversity and Inclusion?

Well, diversity and inclusion are two interconnected concepts—but they are far from interchangeable. Diversity is about representation of an entity whereas Inclusion is about how well the contributions, presence and perspectives of different groups of people are valued and integrated into an environment.

There is ample evidence that diverse and inclusive companies are more likely to make better, bolder decisions. Moreover, we found that the greater the representation, the higher the likelihood of outperformance.

To name some companies that have been doing well with respect to diversity. Yara had their first D&I day in September and Schibsted appointed the first global head for diversity and inclusion.
